On April 23, 2013, the Latin American Institute for Democracy and Development (ILADD) organized this meeting which featured presentations by Roberto Gargarella (UBA, UTDT, CONICET, Argentina) and Ronaldo Porto Macedo Júnior (USP, Brazil) and an introduction by Marcelo Alegre (UBA, Argentina).
