My soil is very hard packed clay with lots of rocks mixed in so digging is very challenging. However I decided to give the Hugelkultur thing a try and I dug out a 4x20' section of my backyard, threw in a bunch of logs and sticks and other wood. Then some compost and also some pre-broken down wood
